MP activity. NWPEAT project management
General information
The NWPEAT project management includes two distinct activities:
- MP.1 activity. Technical and scientific coordination of the project, which involves ensuring the smooth running of activities, coordination of project implementation team members, scientific coordination of studies carried out, coordination of restoration works, coordination of events, dissemination of results, internal and external communication within the project;
- MP.2 activity. Project financial management, which includes project financial management, project management, and administration.
The first core samples were tested in a peat bog
A part of the NWPEAT project team carried out the first peat extractions with the help of a specific tool.
NWPEAT at the kick-off conference of the „Temporary Disused Ramp, Protected Community of Cluj” project
The NWPEAT project manager was present at the kick-off conference of the „Temporary Disused Ramp, Protected Community of Cluj” (RTD-CCP) project, implemented by Cluj-Napoca City Hall through the RO-Environment Programme, financed by the MF SEE 2014-2021.

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests organized a dissemination event on the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol into national legislation.

At the invitation of the Programme Operator, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests, the project manager of the NWPEAT project, together with two other team members, attended the 6th Cooperation Committee meeting of the RO-Environment Programme.

The “Restoration of wetlands and peatlands in the North-West Region” (NWPEAT) project is signed by the legal representatives of the institutions involved in the development of this project and by the Ministry of Environment, Waters, and Forests, as a Programme Operator.
