Location: Bistrița-Năsăud – Tinovul Câmpeilor / Tinovul Grădinița
Challenging in terms of accessibility, the two peatlands located in Lunca Ilvei, on the administrative border with Suceava County, have specific characteristics to mesotrophic peatlands. Tinovul Grădinița and Tinovul Câmpeilor are covered with swampy wild pine. The NWPEAT project team also took photographs, hydrological measurements, and identified existing species in both peatlands.
