The second peat bog in Bistrița-Năsăud County restored through the NWPEAT project is Tinovul Câmpeilor. Just like the nearby peat bog, the main issue is artificial drainage. Several natural wooden and earthen dams have been placed on the existing channels in the bog. Their purpose is to retain water within the peat bog. Additionally, an information panel and several tourist signs have been installed to enhance the visibility of the peat bog.
