A part of the NWPEAT project team carried out the first peat extractions with the help of a specific tool. Within the project, several piezometers/hydro-observation boreholes will be installed in most peat bogs. The main aim is to monitor water oscillations. The monitoring of the water resource will also be carried out after the end of the project, for at least 5 years.
